perso is verified humans only. Accredited journalists get a verified press badge on their profile, and once your press credential is verified your monthly membership fee is waived.
The verified press badge
When your press credential is verified, a press badge appears on your perso profile. It signals to readers that you are an accredited journalist on a network where every account is a verified person. It is granted only on review, never automatically.
Your membership fee is waived
Once your press credential is verified, your recurring monthly membership fee is waived. Accredited press are not charged the monthly subscription: your membership is granted as a comp, with no recurring charge, for as long as your press credential stands.
How to get verified as press

Get the app
perso is a mobile-first network. Download the app and create your verified-human account.

Submit your press credential
In the app, submit your press credential and work details for review. A reviewer checks it against the recognised media organisation.

On approval, the badge and the fee waiver apply
Once your press credential is verified, your verified press badge appears on your profile and your monthly membership fee is waived.
