Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy applies to consumer health data as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373). perso.social is operated by ACGG Rent, S.L., Calle Francisco Ayala 27, 28522 Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Madrid, Spain.
Consumer health data we collect, and why
The only consumer health data we collect is biometric data from the face check, and only if you consent to it: a selfie, a short liveness video, the photo on your ID document, the face geometry derived from them, and, if you choose to let us keep it, a face template (a set of numbers describing your face, with no image). We collect it for one purpose: to confirm that you are a real, live person and the person shown on your ID, so that each perso account belongs to one verified human, and, in account recovery, that you are the person who owns the account. It is used only to compare your live face with your ID photo for that purpose, and to compare the face of a person verifying with the face templates of members who chose to let us keep theirs, so that one person cannot hold several perso accounts.
Where it comes from
From you: your device's camera during the face check, and the ID document you show.
Sharing
We do not share consumer health data, and we do not sell it. No categories of consumer health data are shared, and there are no third parties or affiliates with whom we share it.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; to access it, including a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared or sold it and their contact information; to withdraw your consent; and to have it deleted. You can withdraw your consent in the app, in Settings. For any other request, write to dpo@perso.social. We answer within 45 days of receiving your request; if we need more time, we may extend that once by 45 days and will tell you why. If we refuse to act on your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer; we will tell you the outcome in writing, with our reasons, within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you can complain to the Washington State Attorney General at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
