The perso Manifesto

The public square has been overrun: by bots, by anonymous cruelty, by feeds tuned to enrage rather than inform. We were told this was simply the cost of being online. It is not.

perso is built on one conviction: the digital public square belongs to real people. Not scripts. Not sock-puppets. Not the moods of a distant owner.

So here, every voice is a verified human. You speak as yourself, and you stand behind what you say, because accountability is not the enemy of free expression. It is what makes free expression worth having.

We hold your dignity above your attention. We will not sell you to advertisers, mine your identity for profit, or ship your data across borders. Verification proves you are human, and is then forgotten: privacy by design, under European law, your data held in Europe.

We believe disagreement is healthy, that debate is how free people think together, and that a room of real names is braver, and kinder, than a mob of masks.

This is a smaller, slower, more human internet. Less noise. Real voices. Real accountability.

If you’re done with the rest: welcome to perso.
